Does the Democratic Party want a new image?

President Trump recently said, “I heard there’s a rumor the Democrats are going to change the name of the party from the Democratic Party to the Socialist Party.” It was most likely a sarcastic poke at democrats. One would think that a group that chooses a Jack Ass as a representative symbol would appreciate irony.

Poking aside, what would be a more fitting name for Democrats?

This is the party that fought to keep slavery, the party that fought to keep blacks from the right to vote, the party that fought to keep women from the right to vote, the party that supports genocide of children born and unborn, the party of the KKK, the list of acts against humanity goes on and on. Frankly, the fact that this is a viable party in this great country is reprehensible and shameful.

They don’t need a new name, they need to be outlawed.

I used to think that Seattle was a cool place to visit; not anymore. It’s dirty and full of homeless camping out everywhere.  There are needles and feces everywhere.  It’s run by liberals who want to defund the police, and police who police from a distance with binoculars.  If they can’t see a crime they don’t respond, no matter how often you call 911.

There is a cop free zone where anything goes.

Seattle is embarrassing the rest of the state of Washington.

Worst of all, the people of Seattle don’t care; they like it that way.  They voted for this government, and the people are not waging a cry against it.

So, don’t go!  Don’t go to Seattle!  Find somewhere else to shop. Visit other places, places where you can be safe and promote businesses that support strong government that actually serves and protects its citizens.

Don’t go!  It’s the one thing you can do to encourage the people and the government to stand up for what is right, true, and just. If you go, you are only enabling Seattle to continue down the road of shame, crime, and disaster.

Are you freakin kidding me?

Friday, June 12 a white cop shot and killed a black man at a Wendy’s parking lot in Atlanta, Georgia. The investigation is ongoing, but the video clearly indicates that this shooting was unwarranted. No one disputes the known facts in this case. That being that the victim, Rayshard Brooks, was intoxicated, that he violently resisted arrest, that he took an officer’s taser, that he attempted to flee the scene during that attempt, that he shot the taser at an officer, that the officer fired his gun three times, that Rayshard Brooks was hit twice in the back, and died as a result.

From here, I can only give my opinion based on what I see through the videos and based on the reported facts. This person was not an immediate threat. He was not attacking the officers; he was trying to escape them. His initial crime of “sleeping while intoxicated in his vehicle” was not an indication that this person posed a violent threat to anyone. Sadly, the law will probably support the use of deadly force, but common sense will not support the lethal measure of response to the resistance displayed. “Let him go.” will be the thoughts of many who view the videos. Most will believe that a later attempt at arrest would not only be prudent in this case, but likely have a much different conclusion. There needs to be a reasonable judgement on the part of officers; that you don’t have to resort to deadly force just because you can. God gave you a brain for more than a narrow response to every obstruction you will encounter.

As we know them, the facts of the case are damning enough against the officer’s use of deadly force. What is also excessive is the use of words that falsely depict a narrative that the facts don’t support and that creates unwarranted anger and hostility. There is no evidence that this is a case of racial bias, it is more a case of very bad judgement and emotions out of control. It is another example that one person was given a gun and a badge who should not have either.

That being said, the left has an agenda to push, and in order to do that they will say anything… in any way… in order to keep the pot boiling over. For example, Marie Harf on FOX’s Outnumbered, Monday June 15, 2020, said this, “You should not be shot in the back for sleeping in your car drunk…”. To the listener you would get the impression that the police snuck up on Rayshard Brooks while he was sleeping in his car and shot him in the back. Bang, bang, bang, your dead! With that as a narrative who wouldn’t be enraged. Enraged enough to burn Wendy’s to the ground. Enraged enough to riot.

They do this not because they care about the unwarranted loss of life, but because they think that lying about how it happened will help their chances of winning back the White House in November. If they really cared about Rayshard and the many others killed by excessive force then they would not feel the need to embellish on the facts and they would put forth honest measures to help prevent it in the future.

Thing Two: Obama had eight years… Why didn’t he do away with choke holds?

Thing Three: The cancel culture has declared that the children’s cartoon, Paw Patrol, should either be taken down or the puppy, Chase, who plays a police puppy should be euthanized, (killed). Only then can the show stay on the air.

Homesteading?

If you want it…and you take it…you can keep it.  Homesteading is back in Seattle. Seattle city mayor Jenny Durkan has taken homeless squatting to a whole other level.  She has ceded several city blocks, including one of the city’s police precincts, to a mob of crazy radicals.  She has not indicated any desire to take it back.  In fact, no one seems to care, not even the people of Seattle.

I’ve never been a fan of Seattle, but now I’m convinced, the crazies didn’t take Seattle.  The crazies have been in charge of it for a long time. You get what you vote for, and this is what the people of Seattle want.

When asked on CNN yesterday, when the occupation might end, Durkan responded that she has no idea and is expecting a “Summer of love” from the occupiers.

The group has declared the area as a new country called Chaz, declaring with signs on its borders stating, “You are now leaving the USA.”  The country of Chaz has a list of demands including the complete abolition of the police department and doing away with courts and prisons.  In addition, they demand free college, free health care, and a free pass from legal accountability against the occupiers.

Meanwhile Washington’s Governor Jay Inslee and Seattle Mayor Durkan have engaged in a pissing contest with President Trump on national television.  The President calling the protesters unlawful occupiers, and the Governor and Mayor referring to them as peaceful-first-amendment “patriots”.

As I see it, Mr. President, you are in a no-win situation.  If you leave Seattle to the crazies, you look weak.  Yet, if you send in the military to use force against mentally ill people, you appear insensitive and overbearing towards a group of “summer-of-love” flower children.

The whole world is watching, and you’re screwed.
