Good News…Bad News
Yesterday the powers that be, informed us that the unemployment rate dropped unexpectedly to 13.3 percent. Prior to that news all the experts were predicting the rate to rise to 20 percent, so that would seem like good news, right? But wait, there’s more! They also informed us that May created 2.5 million jobs, and again the experts had predicted more loses: good news, right? Not done yet. To complete the hat-trick the Dow Jones Industrial Average closed more than $800.00 up for the day, breaking 27,000. More good news, right?
Yes, good news for the people all across the country, good news for the President, but bad news for the Democrats and the liberal press. They want high unemployment; they want people out of work and desperate. They need bad news in order to convince people to vote for Biden in the fall, no matter how many people are hurt in the process; bad news is good news, and good news is bad news.
